| 8:28 pm | [WARDED TO DEATH EATERS] It seems like the Ministry have gotten more desperate in their attempt to win over the masses. Yesterday they expected us to wear green to remember Charis Burke. They are still investigating as to what happened at the carnival. But that is not as important as the next bit of information I have for you. They have decided to implement a journal tagging system. I am not quite sure how it will work yet, but the point is to detect those who might be communicating with the Death Eaters. I will find out more about it, though this could mean that I will have to cease communicating information via journals. |

| 11:38 pm | It has been a while since I last wrote in this thing. But there isn't much to say, is it? Or rather, I do not have anything special to share. Things have been going normally enough at work. People have been commenting about what had happened at the auction, though mostly along the vein of how the Ministry should be more prepared and tighten their security. I believe that as workers for the Ministry, they should have more faith in what the Department of Magical Law Enforcement are doing, rather than throw rash comments about it. I was there, after all, and I know it wasn't a very easy situation to deal with. This might be a little overdue, but my sincere condolences to the family and friends of the girl who lost her life that day. |

| 10:31 pm | [Warded Private] Matters to Deal with Next Week 1. Orson staying over. Pros: Parents will be pleased he's staying over, I'll be less bored. Note to self: Don't let him be too intoxicated, just in case he writes too much in his journal again. 2. Tell Mother I have no intention of courting anyone this year. I have other important things to do, and doing so would only be a hassle. 3. Finish reading/organise reports for the latest Inquisitorial Squad trials; see if there's anything useful that can be passed around. 4. Pretend to be too busy to look at the journals just in case they need alcohol again. I am not going to let myself only be a delivery boy for them -- it's enough that I get treated like that at work. 5. Saturday night's family dinner. Joy. |

| 10:17 pm | Judging by how the trials are going, I am glad that none of the former Inquinsitorial Squad members aren't getting severer punishments. Well, at least it's bringing in some heated conversation between people here. Some of them are starting to question the necessity of interrogating mere students. I'm going to end my thoughts on that note. I realise how many people will disagree with me, and this might turn into another argument of some sort. Anyway, what I need right now is some suggestions as to what to buy for my best mate's birthday, who may be a little picky about it. I'm sure all of you have bright ideas about this kind of thing. |

| 7:32 pm | There are some days when one is not motivated to go to work, and today happens to be one of those days. No particular reason, of course -- I quite enjoy working at the Wizengamot and so on and so forth. Perhaps it has something to do with the countless of memos I've been getting today that involves more of me having to go make three to six cups of coffees for a meeting. Some people might find that pleasantly productive. I, however, find it useless. Nevertheless, I'm glad it's Friday. |
